Carsoe A/S Acquires Shares in Holmek Palletering A/S
Supplier of palletizing systems
As part of Carsoe’s strategy, we have been working over a longer period of time on either completely or partially taking over one of our cooperation partners within the Seafood segment.
On the 11th of September Carsoe has acquired 43% of the shares in Holmek Palletering AS, situated in Kristiansund, Norway. Holmek supplies palletizing systems and is involved in the supply of our current technical solutions for the existing trawler orders at Carsoe. Together with Holmek, Carsoe have developed and delivered some excellent solutions with very positive response from our customers.
“By acquiring a minority stake in Holmek, we hope to achieve even better control of our supply chain within palletizing solutions - particularly with regards to technical issues and future development. Except for some changes in the board of management which I will join, the daily business won’t be affected – neither at Holmek nor at Carsoe” says managing director Mikkel Jacobsen.
