Polar Seafood Places Record-Breaking Order at Carsoe

Polar Seafood, which is Scandinavia's largest supplier of fish and seafood, has chosen Carsoe as a partner in the redevelopment of the trawler Polar Princess.
The trawler will be converted to handle a wider range of fish that will be processed and packed aboard the ship immediately after the catch.

"This project is a result of the last few years of focused effort on Carsoes development and expansion, which has made us an attractive partner for customers," says director Mikkel Jacobsen.

Carsoe is responsible for the complete reconstruction, including development, production and assembly - which means equipment from the fish is hauled on board until they are frozen, packaged on pallets and ready for delivery.

Mikkel Jakobsen: "We are able to design and develop special equipment to our customers according to their needs, giving us a strong position in the Danish and international market. In addition, we are able to respond quickly to our customers' needs and offering them short delivery times . We know that time plays a major role for our customers - when production stops, the company loses a part of their turnover. Therefore, we are quick to divert ourselves and make room for the time-critical tasks when they come."
